Eligibility Criteria for University of the Arts London Scholarships
To qualify for the University of the Arts London Scholarships, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Language: English

- Offer: You must currently hold an offer to study a full-time taught master’s course at one of UAL’s six colleges, starting in the academic year 2024/25. Your course must lead to an M ARCH, MA, MFA, MRes, or MSc qualification.
- Residency: You must be ordinarily resident in one of the low-income economy countries listed in the qualifying countries list, OR you must be an asylum seeker in the UK when you apply for the scholarship.
- Household Income: Your annual household income must be £50,000 or less (or the equivalent exchange value in your country’s currency) at the time of the scholarship application.
- Personal Statement: You need to provide a personal statement answering the following questions (maximum 350 words per question):
- Describe how receiving a Postgraduate Scholarship would make a difference to you.
- Explain how you intend to use the qualification you will gain to support your future plans.
- Describe how you would address challenges in your home country.
- Explain how you would uphold the values of social justice and environmental stewardship.
